Yes, it is better than working in IBM. You get the best of both worlds - the experience of working in an international company, the ability to work with a large and talented team, and the great opportunities for growth

It depends on the project. If you are an Associate System Engineer, you are working on the lowest level of the software stack, which is the most difficult, most technical and the most expensive to develop. Yes, it is better in some ways. The main reason is that you get to work on the main lines and you get to see what is happening in the system. Junior engineers are hired under the seniority system and they are paid according to the seniority of their department. If they are promoted to Senior Engineer, they will be paid at a higher rate. However, if they are promoted to Senior System Engineer, they will be paid at a lower rate

The pay and conditions of Junior Engineer are very good. In IBM, I was working in a management position where I was given a lot of responsibility and I had a lot of freedom to do what I wanted. I was also working with a lot of people, and it was very tiring. I was also working for a company that had a lot of pressure from the top

I am sure it is better. I worked as an Associate System Engineer in IBM for almost 5 years, and it was the most rewarding experience of my life. I made a lot of good friends and learnt a lot about the software development and management process. I am also glad that I got to work in the Indian Railways
